Preventing underage gambling
Under 18? Turn around, there’s nothing for you here. Casinoboss is a gambling entertainment platform, and as such a strictly adult destination.
On registration, our system verifies that players who join the fun go through a verification process to ensure they are of legal age to gamble.
Here are a few tips to protect you and others around you from underage gambling:
Never share your log-in details
Do not use a ‘remember password’ function on login
Do not share your credit card or bank account details with minors. Like ever!
Install parental control software or internet filter software on your internet browsing devices if you have under 18’s in your household. Check out how to do this on www.netnanny.com or www.cyberpatrol.com.
Self-assessment test
Why not take a simple test and see where you stand?
You’ll find below a set of questions taken from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSMV). If you answer ‘yes’ to four or more of them, then you could be experiencing gambling problem, and we urge you to consider applying limits to your account(s) or self-excluding yourself.
We also encourage you seek professional advice with regards to those four or more questions you answered ‘yes’ to.
Do I need to gamble with larger amounts of money or for a longer period to get the same feeling of excitement?
Do I feel restless or irritable when trying to cut down or stop gambling?
Have I tried to control, cut back or stop gambling without success?
Do I spend a lot of time thinking about gambling?
Do I often gamble when feeling distressed in some way, like for example anxious, stressed, lonely, guilty or depressed?
Do I chase my losses by trying to win back money I lost?
Have I lied to others about how much time or money I spend gambling?
Has my gambling affected my relationships or my job?
Have I sold possessions or relied on others to lend me money when I have lost it because of gambling? Do I often play until all my money is gone?

Have I ever stolen money to fund my gambling?

Our services and Tools
Casinoboss has put in place a series of functionalities to allow you to bet and play in a safe manner:
Set Limits
Casinoboss allows you to set a number of gaming limits to control your play. Settings up limits is recommended and can be done via your account dashboard. Here’s what you’ll find:
Deposit limits allow you to set limits on the amount of money you deposit for a given period;
Net loss limits give you to control of the maximum amount of money you are prepared to lose over a given period;
Wagering limits allow you to limit the amount you can wager over a given period;
Session limits limit the amount of time you can remain logged in
Financial limits can be set on a daily, weekly or monthly basis and you can adjust your limits whenever you feel like it.
Limits can be reduced immediately at any time, however any request to increase or remove a limit is subject to a 7 days ‘cooling off’ period, during which the previous limit will remain active.
Track your activity
Keeping an eye on what you’ve been up to is simple, there’s a log of your deposit and withdrawal transactions available for you to view in your transaction history. Similarly, your gaming history allows you to see how much/when/on what games you have played, the balance after each bet, winnings and the current total funds available to either continue wagering with, or to withdraw.
Reality Check
Every hour in play, a popup appears, informing you of the time you’ve been playing for, and your net profit during that period. At that point you can choose to resume or stop your gaming session. Please note, the reality check reminder may not work as expected if you do not accept cookies or use incognito mode on your browser.

Self exclusion
If you feel that you may be becoming a bit too obsessed with gambling, you should consider excluding yourself from all gambling environments, both offline and online.
At Casinoboss, you can choose to self-exclude for a period of 7 days, 1 month, 6 months, 1 year or even indefinitely. If you wish to resume your playing once your self-exclusion period has expired, you will need to confirm this by email, as well as agreeing to the Terms & Conditions related to the reactivation of your account. A further 7 days ‘cooling off’ period applies.
To self-exclude, click here and follow the prompts.
Casinoboss has measures in place to ensure that as soon as your self-exclusion request is processed, we will no longer allow you to play on Casinoboss.com, via computer, mobile or tablet device, and you will not be able to re-open your account or open a new account on Casinoboss.com at any time in the future for permanent self-exclusions, or during your temporary self-exclusion period.

Should we become aware that you have used false data, or any similar means, to open an Account with us, we reserve the right to immediately close that Account. You will need to send us a withdrawal request if you have any balance outstanding on your account, but we will not allow you to bet. You will still be permitted to play for fun at Casinoboss if you no longer have an account with us and you will not be at risk of losing any money.
